We have got our new web site up and running and am moving the blog to that location. The new site is: http://www.jhudphotography.com and the short link to the blog is:http://www.jhudphotography.com/blog/
I hope that you enjoy my new site and I will attempt to get it complete very soon. In the mean-time, subscribe to the blog on the new site and enjoy!
Well, we are getting the web site going kinda-sorta. I have a meeting next Monday and I hope to finalize everything then and get the whole site up and running. Not so easy as they make it sound building your own site, depending on the complexities. My future posts and web site address will be jhudphotography.com and my email through the site will be email@example.com. Well, enough lolli-gagging. back to work. Note: The web site is currently incomplete and still in the build phase.
Well folks, I am intent on building my new web site here, so things may be a little out of sorts as I do this. Please bear with me and I hope the finished project will live up to my expectations. I am excited to get this going and I am not sure if things will be messed up on the blog as I build, but I do appreciate your continued support as this happens. Have a great day!
Wow seems to be the only way to describe the sunset I witnessed last night from Prineville. As I was returning home from a friend’s house, I could see this brilliant sky being painted into one of the most dramatic and beautiful skies at sunset I have ever witnessed. I hurried down the road to a spot I knew I could get a good shot without a bunch of fences, and power poles in the way and this is the shot I got. Thank you God! What an exquisite creation!
Taken from McKay Road 1 mile out of Prineville
I have been working on a book of our hunting experiences for some time now and finally got it sent into Blurb for print. It is available for purchase through their website. Check it out!
This morning I awoke to an email from the club I belong to-Cascade Camera Club-notifying me that the image I submitted for the December critique (the theme was “Underneath”) was chosen as “Photo of the Month”. What an honor! I truly appreciate all the extremely talented members of the club and their passion for photography. Thanks you!

Christmas for 2012 is officially over and now the New Year starts soon. College Bowl games and friendships and relationships are high on the priority list for the next few days. Then, it’s back to shooting. Got to go out with my friend Judy Neill for a snow filled shooting day and it produced a really good shot or two. Hope you all have an excellent New Year!
Another favorite is one of an old homestead located on Cloverdale Raod. Must have been quite a place in it’s day.
We had a ton of fun and got to experience some of the challenges of shooting in a snow storm. Hope you enjoy.
